ArmInfo. Russia is doing everything necessary and within its power to continue the settlement process, which was started with the signing of the tripartite statement (between Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan, ed. note), on November 9, 2020, despite all the problems, contradictions and disagreements.
Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin stated this on September 29 in an interview with journalists during a visit of diplomats to the border Sotk, which had previously been fired upon by enemy forces. "And we continue to work hard in this direction, helping the parties in every possible way to develop common positions. This requires a lot of effort, but we are doing it and will continue to do it," the diplomat said.
At the same time, he noted that Russia understands that the Armenian side had different expectations from it. At the same time, he did not comment on the statements of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan that the Armenian side paid millions of dollars, however, the allies did not fulfill their obligations to supply weapons. He urged to turn to relevant experts in this area, and added that this is a very sensitive issue regarding the Armenian-Russian cooperation.
