ArmInfo.Against the backdrop of partial mobilization in the Russian Federation, the demand for private jets has risen sharply in Moscow. The Guardian reports.
It is noted that Russians are predominantly heading to countries that still allow them to enter without a visa, including Turkey, Armenia, and Azerbaijan, The Guardian reported. Russians are paying up to 1.3 to 1.6 million rubles for a flight on private jets. It is also reported that the cost of renting an eight-seater aircraft ranges from 5 to 9 million rubles, which is several times higher than the standard prices for such services.
Eduard Simonov, the CEO of aviation company FlightWay, told The Guardian that the demand for private jets has "increased by 50 times," adding that they're struggling to meet demands after EU sanctions earlier this year severely limited jet availability.
