ArmInfo.. Today, October 26, the CSTO exercises Poisk- 2022, Echelon-2022 and Interaction-2022 Kazakhstan, which will last until October 8. Military contingents of the member countries of the Organization arrived in the Republic by rail, air transport and on wheeled military equipment. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Earlier, the CSTO Joint Staff reported that the command-staff exercise with the CSTO CRRF Interaction - 2022 provides for the development of issues of preparing and conducting a joint operation on bringing an armed conflict in the Central Asian region of collective security under control. It was noted that for the first time, a new division of collective forces will take part in the exercise - the joint formation of radiation, chemical, biological protection and medical support of the CSTO. During the special exercise "Poisk-2022", the issues of organizing and conducting reconnaissance by the forces and means of the intelligence agencies of the CSTO member states in the interests of the collective rapid reaction forces of the CSTO will be worked out. The special exercise "Echelon-2022" is aimed at working out the issues of organizing logistics.
Meanwhile, according to the Armenian media with reference to the Armenian defense department, the Armenian Armed Forces will not take part in the CSTO exercises in Kazakhstan against the backdrop of the situation on the borders of the Republic due to the latest Azerbaijani military aggression against the sovereign territories of the Republic of Armenia.
Currently, CSTO members are Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
