This was stated by press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, answering the question of how Moscow views the visit of Speaker of the House of Representatives of the US Congress Nancy Pelosi to Armenia and whether can this trip serve to settle the conflict with Azerbaijan?
"Everything that is done not by words, but with really quiet and practical actionss, and not loud, populist ones, may contribute to the regulation of relations, stabilization of the situation at the border, and it is most welcome. May such high-profile actions and statements really contribute to this normalization? Let's see, over time it will all be clear," Peskov told reporters.
The American speaker arrived in Armenia on September 17, along with her arrived in Yerevan Chairman of the Committee on Energy and Commerce of the US House of Representatives Frank Palone and members of the House of Representatives Anna Eshu and Jackie Speyer. During the visit, Pelosi held a briefing for journalists, where she accused Azerbaijan of aggression against Armenia.
