European Council president ready to contribute to prevention of  further escalation

ArmInfo.rmenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with President of the European Council Charles Michel on Tuesday, the government  press service reported. 

It said the prime minister presented in detail the situation created  by Azerbaijan's aggression against Armenia's sovereign territory.

Michel said that there is no alternative to peace and stability in  the region and expressed readiness to make efforts to prevent further  escalation.
