This was stated by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov following a trilateral meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Transport of Turkey, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan on Tuesday in Tashkent.
At the same time, Bayramov did not mention that official Baku, insisting on these principles, in addition to not observing them, moreover, continues to put forward territorial claims at various levels on the territories of its neighbors (Armenia, Georgia, Artsakh, Iran, Dagestan, etc.).
At the same time, he noted that Azerbaijan constantly supports and promotes regional platforms based on a common vision and mutual respect.
Bayramov drew attention to another mechanism of trilateral dialogue with the participation of Kazakhstan, noting the effectiveness of such formats. <The trilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Turkey is also based on a common history and culture. This makes strong triangular and strategic ties even more stable>, Bayramov said.
Bayramov presented to the meeting participants about the situation in the South Caucasus in the post- conflict period, including Azerbaijan's peacekeeping efforts.
He noted that Azerbaijan's position on full-scale regional cooperation is principled and consistent.
According to the Azerbaijani minister, holding trilateral meetings with the participation of the ministers of trade, economy and transport of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Turkey will help in the development and promotion of joint projects. Bayramov stressed that the parties discussed issues of economy, trade, investment and transport. This will help to fully realize the potential of cooperation between these countries, the minister assures.
According to Anadolu, Bayramov said that the situation in Afghanistan was among the topical issues raised during the meeting.
