ArmInfo. Since June 14, 2022, the South Caucasus Railway company's foreign passenger traffic has reached 7,007.
This June, the company transported more than two times as many passengers as last June, when its foreign passenger traffic reached 3,218.
Specifically, 3,832 passengers used the Batumi train and 3,175 the Tbilisi train. This year, two trains - Yerevan-Tbilisi-Yerevan (five days a week) and Yerevan-Batumi-Yerevan (two days a week) - will serve passengers this year.
In the first half of 2022, the South Caucasus Railway company transported a total of 220,500 passengers - a 22% increase as compared with the first half of 2021.
