ArmInfo.Russia is ready to assist the Armenian-Turkish dialogue in every possible way, Maria Zakharova, Spokesperson for Russia's foreign office, told a news briefing.
Moscow has always been supporting the normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations, which was launched in Moscow.
"We proceed from the fact that it is in the interests of stability and economic progress of the region," she said.
Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on July 11.
The leaders emphasized the importance they attach to the bilateral normalization process between their respective countries which will also contribute to the strengthening of peace and stability in the region. In this context they expressed their expectation for the early implementation of the agreements reached during the meeting between the Special Representatives of their countries on July 1.
