ArmInfo. Armenia took part in the IV International Festival "Meeting of UNESCO Masterpieces on Olonkho Land", which was held in Yakutsk under the auspices of UNESCO.
According to the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Armenia presented the dance "Kochari" and the epic "David of Sasun" at the festival, which are included in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
In particular, the dance Kochari was performed in 5 versions by the "Ardvin" ethnographic song and dance ensemble, and the epic "David of Sasun" was presented by the founder-head of the "Kayt" educational and cultural center Koryun Davtyan. According to the source, the festival, which was dedicated to the cultural heritage of Russia and different nations of the world, was attended by about 100 representatives from Armenia, India, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, as well as various regions of Russia, including Kalmykia, Altai, Tiva, Buryatia , Yakutia. The final concert at the Yakut State Opera and Ballet Theater ended with the performance of the "Ardvin" ethnographic song and dance ensemble, which performed the Armenian dance Kochari. It should be noted that according to the information of the MESCS, the following are included in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List: "Duduk and its music" (2008), "The art of khachkars.
