ArmInfo.The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth of Georgia signed a memorandum on the activation of cooperation between the countries in the cultural sector for the period from 2022 to 2024. This is stated in the official statement of the state department.
According to the source, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia Ara Khzmalyan made proposals on the implementation of joint projects in the future. In particular, he attached importance to the restoration of the house-museum of the great Armenian poet Vahan Teryan, which is located in Javakhk. In this regard, the Deputy Minister emphasized that Armenia is ready to provide expert assistance, while noting the possibility of involving private investments in this process.
The proposals from the Armenian side also included the development of cultural routes, the deepening of cooperation between the Academies of Arts of the two countries, the organization of mutual cultural visits, etc.
The parties agreed to develop a schedule for the implementation of programs and an action plan to move on to concrete steps.
