ArmInfo. Internally displaced persons from Artsakh demand that the Armenian authorities solve their housing problems. They gathered today in front of the government building, insisting on meetings with officials.
One of the participants of the action said that they intend to meet with the head of the operational headquarters of the Artsakh government in Yerevan, Mikayel Virabyan. She noted that some internally displaced persons are already being issued housing certificates for the purchase of housing worth up to 10 million drams, but today it turns out that real estate appraisers, who are selected by commercial banks, estimate it much lower than the specified amount. In fact, the proposed housing for the beneficiaries is estimated at 7 million drams. At the same time, the same beneficiaries must also pay for all the documentation at their own expense, plus make an advance payment in the amount of 500 thousand drams. After all these payments, less than 6 million drams remain, more than which the banks refuse to provide.
The action participant added that even for 10 million drams it is difficult to find acceptable housing in the regions of the country, not to mention Yerevan. For this reason, the protesters demand to solve the problem. , she noted.
