ArmInfo.Yerevan has hosted the ChemEX entitled "Chemistry: pharma: biotech: new challenges." The main task of the forum is pooling the potential of Russian, Armenian and EAEU companies working in the production and services sectors and establishing cooperation.
"We need specific positions and amount of listed products. We need government guarantees and assistance to the chemical industry. In this case, the system will start operating in unison and accomplishing common tasks assigned by the government to businesses," Vladislav Shestakov, Director of the State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices, RF Ministry of Trade, said.
Armenia's Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan pointd out an important role of Armenia's chemical industry in the USSR. "At present, the chemical and pharmaceutical industries are the Armenian government's priorities, and we are launching various development programmes in the industries," he said.
The forum discussed cooperation programmes, ways of ensuring uninterrupted production. The speakers spoke of exchange of experience in training specialists and in research and development.
Among the participants were President of the RA National Academy of Sciences Ashot Saghyan, Research Supervisor of the Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia Akhbar Godari and others.
