ArmInfo.Armenia's Premier Nikol Pashinyan has sent a congratulatory message to U.S. President Joe Biden on the occasion of the 246th anniversary of the independence of the United States of America.
The message reads:
"I heartily congratulate you and the friendly people of the United States of America on the Independence Day. Every year, millions of Americans, including American Armenians, celebrate the most important day in the U.S. history. Since independence was proclaimed, the people and all the governments of the United States have consistently followed the way of securing freedom, human rights, rule of law and democracy. The U.S. leadership in democracy plays a significant role not only in ensuring human rights protection and rule of law in different parts of the world, but also in creating conditions for predictable and peaceful development for residents of regions," the message reads. Armenia's premier stressed that the Armenia-US partnership is base on common values and mutual confidence.
"I am happy to inform you that our intergovernmental cooperation and mutual commitments yo stregthen democracy are producing appreciable results," the message reads.
Armenia's President Vahagn Khachaturyan also sent a congratulatory message to President of the United States Joe Biden on the country's national holiday, Independence Day.
The message reads:
"The Declaration of Independence was signed years ago in Philadelphia, and ever since has become the highest milestone in the establishment of democracy, human rights and dignity. It has had a groundbreaking impact on the world history.
"The United States of America is one of the most important partners of the Republic of Armenia. Armenia greatly values the friendly relations between our countries, as well as the close multi-sector cooperation.
"I am sure that with joint efforts we will strengthen the existing cooperation, enriching the bilateral agenda and expanding partnership relations within the framework of strategic dialogue.
"We highly appreciate the continuous support and the efforts of the United States to maintain peace and stability in our region, as well as to implement democratic and economic reforms."
