ArmInfo. At the moment, there is no serious progress in the normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations. Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Special Representative of Armenia in the negotiation process, Ruben Rubinyan, told journalists on June 30.
He noted that from the very beginning of the process of normalization of bilateral relations, the Armenian side has shown a constructive approach and political will to quickly normalize them. "But, as you can see, there is no tangible progress yet, and this is clearly visible," Rubinyan stressed, adding that the success of the process depends on Ankara's appropriate constructiveness and political will.
Tomorrow, on July 1, another meeting of Special Representatives of the two countries is scheduled in Vienna. Ruben Rubinyan and Turkish Special Representative Serdar K?l?c will meet for the fourth time.
Rubinyan and K?l?c have already held three meetings within the framework of the process of achieving a full-fledged settlement between the two countries (January 14 in Moscow, February 24 and May 3 in Vienna). Both Yerevan and Ankara reaffirm their commitment to continue the dialogue process without preconditions through "an honest and effective exchange of views and discussion of possible steps to achieve tangible progress."
