ArmInfo. The State Duma at a meeting on June 29 adopted in the first reading a bill providing for the recognition in Russia of national driver's licenses of Armenian citizens when they carry out entrepreneurial and labor activities in the Russian Federation.
"The projected changes provide for the recognition of national driver's licenses of citizens of the Republic of Armenia in the implementation of entrepreneurial and labor activities on the territory of the Russian Federation related to driving vehicles," the explanatory note says, TASS reports.
Currently, a similar rule applies to citizens of Kyrgyzstan and citizens of states whose legislation establishes the use of Russian as an official language.
