ArmInfo. Armenia and France intend to expand cooperation in the economic and security sectors. This was stated during the meeting of the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan with Frederic Mondoloni, Director of the Department of Continental Europe of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France.
According to the press service of the Security Council, the parties discussed a wide range of issues on the expansion and development of bilateral cooperation. In this context, readiness was expressed to continue cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
During the meeting, Armen Grigoryan and Frederic Mondoloni also touched upon the long-term political settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group Co- Chairmanship.
As part of his working visit to France, the Secretary of the Security Council also met with Isabelle Dumont, Diplomatic Advisor to the President of France. The interlocutors touched upon issues related to ensuring peace in the region and the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. According to the source, an exchange of views regarding the prospects for further Armenian-French cooperation in the field of security and economy also took place.
