ArmInfo.Armenia and Poland will jointly fight against illegal migration.
At its plenary session on June 14, the RA National Assembly is discussing the Armenian-Polish intergovernmental protocol submitted for ratification on the application of the readmission agreement with the European Union, which was signed on April 19, 2013 in Brussels.
As Head of the Migration Service Armen Yeghiazaryan noted in his speech, five similar protocols have entered into force and are currently in force, one is being prepared and one more is ready for submission for ratification. The Armenian-Polish protocol determines the parties responsible for its implementation, border crossing points, documents required for submission, the procedure for the accelerated or transit return of citizens. The document also establishes the actions of diplomatic missions and consular services, the costs of the parties for the return of citizens, as well as periodic consultations. The document will enter into force on the 30th day after the completion of all procedures.
