ArmInfo.Armenia and Russia can combine efforts to expand their allied relations and enrich them with new initiatives in the interests of Armenian and Russian nationals, Armenia's Vice-Premier Mher Grigoryan stated at a reception on the occasion of Day of Russia, on June 13.
The contemporary history of Russia has seen radical reforms in all the areas of life, with citizens and their interests and prosperity as the basis.
"Russia has traveled this hard way by itself, laying the foundations of an entirely new state and public order. Armenian and Russian peoples deeply intertwine, forming a solid basis for interstate relations, which set an example of bilateral relations," Mr Grigoryan said.
"Armenian-Russian allied relations are conspicuous for politico-military cooperation, effective cooperation within the EAEU, CSTO and CIS and other international organizations, successful economic, energy and transport cooperation," he added.
