Russia remains Armenia`s ally - Armenian MP

ArmInfo. The people in power in Armenia are only formally authorities. They do not represent the interests of the Armenian people and of Artsakh, Ara Vardevanyan, a  member of the Armenia opposition parliamentary faction, stated at a  rally in front of Armenia's foreign office, where the Armenian and  Russian FM are holding meeting. 

Russia has been an ally of Armenia and Armenians. According to him,  Armenia's incumbent authorities have for the last four years spared  no effort to undermine the Armenian-Russian relations. "We are sure  that once this group is removed from power this threat will be  neutralized, and Armenia will become a strong country, a real  guarantor of Artsakh's security," he said. 

The Russian FM is scheduled to hold meetings with Armenian President  Vahagn Khachaturyan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Foreign   Minister Ararat Mirzoyan. 

The sides will discuss bilateral allied relations, expansion of   cooperation within the EAU, CSTO and CIS, coordination on   international platforms. 

The sides will also exchange views on the implementation of the   Armenian, Azerbaijani and Russian leaders' agreements of November 9,   2020, January 11 and November 26, 2021.
