ArmInfo.The majority of the population of Armenia is dissatisfied with the current internal political situation in the country. This conclusion is reached by the data of another sociological survey "Diplomacy 3.0" of MPG consulting company held from May 26 to May 28.
In particular, 66.5% of respondents expressed their dissatisfaction, of which 49.9% assess the current situation extremely negatively, and 16.6% - rather negatively. Nevertheless, 7.3% are quite satisfied with it, and 15% assess what is happening rather positively than negatively.
At the same time, more than a third of the respondents have a negative attitude towards the struggle of the opposition (33%), 12.3% - rather negatively than positively, 15.9% are supporters of the opposition movement, and 16.6% assess it positively rather than negatively. 22% found it difficult to answer. At the same time, 15.5% of respondents joined the street struggle of the opposition in Yerevan, 4.1% in the regions, and 8.2% in the Republic as a whole. Of the opposition supporters, 64.6% express their position by participating in rallies, 31.7% - in social networks (Facebook), 19.5% - in car marches, 18.3% - in disobedience actions. According to the results of the survey, 16.9% unequivocally negatively assess the work of law enforcement agencies during disobedience actions, 20.3% - rather negatively, 26.3% - completely positively, 19.8% - rather positively, and 16.6% - found it difficult to answer.
When asked what is needed to resolve the current internal political situation, 27.6% noted that no changes are needed, 26.6% see a way out in new parliamentary elections, 21.8% - in the formation of a transitional government, 11.4% % - believe that there is a need to put pressure on the opposition and 12.6% - found it difficult to answer.
It should be noted that the survey was conducted through telephone calls to residents of the Republic of Armenia in the period from May 26 to 28 this year, the sample size was 1003, the sampling error was +/- 3%.
