ArmInfo.The rapid reaction group of the RA Human Rights Defender's Office visited on Wednesday four police stations to provide legal advice to 64 detained activities of the Resistance Movement.
The group members found out that the law-enforcers committed violations against the detainees and insulted them. Human Rights Defender Kristinne Grigoryan stated her intention to address letters to the relevant agencies and demand investigations.
Referring to citizens' testimony, Ms Grigoryan reported that the law-enforcers id not give the time to a number of the later detained protesters to unblock the roadway.
She also reported violence against a group of old people on the part of the protesters in Gyumri. Ms Grigoryan highlighted the importance of condemnation on the part of the Resistance Movement leaders.
She also reported obstacles to reporters' work on the part of law-enforcers.
"The Human Rights Defender is closely following the process of calling to account all those responsible for violence during the rallies and protests regardless of their status," the statement reads.
