134,000 Russian immigrants to Armenia in Jan-Mar 2022

ArmInfo. The RF Federal Security Service had admitted an upsurge in emigration from Russia this January-March. Specifically, the number of Russian immigrants to  Georgia and to Armenia has increased 5- and 3-fold respectively. 

According to the official data, a total of 134,000 Russians arrived  in Armenia this January-March.  Most of the immigrants, 78,000,  indicated "personal reasons" for leaving Russia for Armenia, and  41,000 indicated "tourism." Interestingly, a total of 44,000 Russian  citizens arrived in Armenia from Russia last January- March.
