ArmInfo.Georgia is ready to assist in consolidating peace in the region. This was stated by Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili within the framework of the  meeting held on May 2 with Minister of Justice of Armenia Karen  Andreasyan.

As the press service of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of  Armenia reports, the interlocutors stressed the importance of joint  work to maintain peace and stability in the region and overcome  existing challenges. The parties also discussed the initiative of the  Prime Minister of Georgia on "Peaceful Neighborhood in the South  Caucasus".

According to the source, during the meeting, the head of the Georgian  government attached importance to the agreement between the Ministers  of Justice of Armenia and Georgia on strengthening cooperation in the  field of justice, human rights and the provision of public services.
