ArmInfo. The present international relations can be described as an era of "barefaced geopolitics" - geopolitics without "makeup" of such ingredients as human rights, democracy, civil society and so on, Artsakh Foreign Minister David Babayan believes.
"The only thing that remains is interests. They have always been prevalent, but it was once a fashion to apply makeup. But it is in the past. And now it is like in the 'good old days' - harsh, but frank," he said.
An era of "honest and cynical" geopolitics has begun, which allows people to be more realistic and frank, restricting the possibility of justifying blunders with "commitment" to ideals and "belief" in panhuman values, Mr Babayan said.
