ArmInfo. Armenia's former minister of defense David Tonoyan has responded to Armenian Premier Nikol Pashinyan's claims that he allegedly knew about the problem of helmets and bullet-proof vests several days after the war.
Tonoyan, who is an arrestee in a corruption case involving embezzlement of over $4.5mln, stated:
"Armenia's Premier Nikol Pashinyan stated in Parliament on April 13 that he had allegedly learned about the problem of about the problem of helmets and bullet-proof vests several days after the war.
"I am stating with confidence that the application for military equipment and ammunition, including helmets and bullet-proof vests is presented in detail in the Military Equipment and Ammunition Upgrading Programme last approved by the RA Government under Nikol Pashinyan's premiership."
