ArmInfo. In the near future, covid restrictions will remain in force in Armenia. Minister of Health of Armenia Anahit Avanesyan stated this during a briefing.
Despite the favorable situation with coronavirus in the country, the head of the health department believes that the restrictions imposed, in particular, the requirement to provide QR codes (PCR tests, etc.) when visiting public places, are still appropriate. According to Avanesyan, such a favorable time today should be used to prevent the subsequent spread of coronavirus infection through vaccination.
It should be noted that according to the data of the Ministry of Health, up to 10 cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded daily in Armenia lately, moreover, lethal cases are being recorded less and less frequently. In general, since the outbreak of the pandemic in Armenia, 3,011,012 coronavirus tests have been carried out, of which 422,729 cases of infection were recorded (14% of those who passed the test), the number of recovered reached 410,420 (97%), death cases- 8,621 (2%).
The number of fully vaccinated citizens in the country as of April 10 this year amounted to 982,752. In total, 2,142,685 doses of the anti-COVID vaccine were received in Armenia, of which 1,117,714 citizens were vaccinated with the first component. Armenia still remains a country with a risky "orange" status.
