ArmInfo.Artsakh Republic President Arayik Harutyunyan convened an emergency working meeting today, which was attended by representatives of the parliamentary forces, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Secretary of the Security Council.
The head of state noted that the meeting was held at the request of representatives of a number of non- governmental organizations operating in Artsakh, since the statement of RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on April 13 in the RA National Assembly on lowering the status of Artsakh aroused serious concerns among the public.
"Our society has very clear demands that we must meet by organizing comprehensive discussions," he said. During the meeting, a wide range of issues related to external challenges was discussed.
It should be noted that speaking today in parliament, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said the following: "Today the international community tells us again: lower your bar a little on the Nagorno- Karabakh issue and you will have greater international consolidation around Armenia and Artsakh. Otherwise, please don't place your hopes on us, not because we don't want to help you, but because we can't help you."
