ArmInfo.Armenia's former Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan has published the pocket maps Azerbaijani servicemen had during the 44-day war. "These are the maps I found with Azerbaijani servicemen during the 44-day war," Mr Tatoyan wrote on his Facebook account.
According to him, a large part of Armenia (Syunik, Gegharkunik, etc) is shown as historical Azerbaijan.
"Even 'Azerbaijani toponyms' are mentioned. For example, after thee disintegration of the Russian Empire Azerbaijan's area was 130,000 kilometers, 1918-1920. The Azerbaijani Democratic Republic had an area of 14,000 sq. km. This is the Azerbaijani authorities' propaganda and policy pursued for many years, which formed a system of national and religious hatred for Armenians. These are the main causes of Azerbaijan's crimes against humanity in all times," Mr Tatoyan wrote.
