ArmInfo. A meeting of the Business Council of the Interstate Commission for Military-Economic Cooperation of the Collective Security Treaty Organization will be held in Yerevan on April 1, this year.
As the official website of the Organization reports, the event will be held as part of the business program of the 3rd International Exhibition of Defense Technologies "ArmHighTech-2022", chaired by Alexander Nozdrachev.
David Sahakyan, the Acting Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia and the Head of the Armenian National Part of the Interstate Commission for Military- Economic Cooperation, and Valery Semerikov, the CSTO Deputy Secretary General, will address the meeting.
The meeting, together with the heads and members of the national parts of the Business Council will be attended by members of the Board of the Military-Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation on military-economic (technical) cooperation in the CSTO format, led by Mikhail Osyko, Chairman of the Board, member of the Board of the Military-Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation, and Vladimir Drozhzhov, the Deputy Director of the Federal Service of Military-Technical Cooperation.
At the meeting the issue of using the production capacities of the enterprises of the military-industrial complex of the Republic of Armenia will be considered, promising directions of development of cooperation with the enterprises of the military-industrial complex of the CSTO member States will be reviewed. It is also planned to discuss further increase the level of military-economic cooperation, development of cooperation and integration ties of enterprises and organizations of the defense industries of the CSTO member States.
