ArmInfo. SOCAR and its subsidiary Azerigas have nothing in common with gas supply to the Republic of Artsakh, reads a statement by the Artsakhgas CJSC in response to Azerbaijani media reports claiming that Azerigas repaired the gas pipeline and will resume the gas supply on March 29.
"The only gas pipeline supplying natural gas to the Republic of Artsakh is running via the Republic of Armenia, and the Gazprom Armenia CJSC is the supplier. The Artsakhgas CJSC is supplying gas to gas consumers. Therefore, the SOCAR company and its subsidiary Azerigas have nothing in common with the gas supply to the Republic of Artsakh.
"That claim is one more proof that after exploding the gas pipeline on March 8 and preventing its repair for many days, the Azerbaijani side deliberately installed a valve on the gas pipeline for the purpose of causing additional humanitarian problems to the Artsakh population," the official statement reads.
