Zakharova on violation of contact line by Azerbaijan in Artsakh

ArmInfo. On March 24, official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, touched upon the issue of the violation by the Azerbaijani armed  forces in the direction of the village of Parukh in the Askeran  region of the Republic of Artsakh.

The Artsakh Information Center reported today that, as of 4 pm on  March 24, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces violated the line of contact  in the direction of the village of Parukh, Askeran region.  Representatives of the Defense Army and the Russian peacekeeping  contingent deployed in the Republic of Artsakh are trying through  negotiations to stop the further advance of the enemy and return it  to its initial positions.  Women and children of the Hramort  community of the Askeran region were evacuated for security reasons.

So, at the briefing, the journalist asked how the Russian Foreign  Ministry "assesses the clear violation of the tripartite statement by  the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan." "This should be assessed by our  peacekeeping forces stationed there. I repeat what has been said  today: the already tense situation should not be aggravated by any  action," Zakharova stressed.
