ArmInfo. The issue of using the forces of the countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in Russia's "special military operation" in Ukraine has not been raised on the platform of the Organization. This was stated to journalists on Wednesday by press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov, answering the question of whether the troops of other countries could be involved in this "special operation" through the CSTO.
"As far as I know, such issues have not been raised at the CSTO platform," the Kremlin spokesman said.
On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a "special military operation" in response to the appeal of the leaders of the Donbass republics for help.
