ArmInfo.IDBank and Gyumri Information Technology Center signed a memorandum of cooperation. From now on, the companies will cooperate closely to promote technological education and create vacancies in all regions of the Republic of Armenia.
From now on, the best students with a technological specialization who will study at GITC will have the opportunity to study and train at IDBank in the future, with the prospect of starting work at the Bank in the future.
According to Amalia Egoyan, Executive Director of GITC, the cooperation between IDBank and Gyumri IT Center is very important, as IDBank is very attractive to young people with its digital and technology solutions, and GITC aims to promote youth access to digital technologies throughout Armenia. “This memorandum will also clarify the Bank's professional needs in technology and innovation. The companies will jointly develop an educational program in the format of training + internship, focused on youth. Particular attention will be paid to the youth of the regions․ Thus, we will stimulate the inflow of competitive personnel to IDBank, and the Gyumri Information Technology Center will take care of professional education,” says Amalia Egoyan.
According to Mher Abrahamyan, Chairman of the Board of IDBank, cooperation between the companies is very important for Armenia. “Interest in the field of information technology is growing every day among the youth of Armenia. The Bank, in turn, is very interested in attracting new talent․ “We are confident that we will become the best employer for new specialists and help them start the right career,” said Mher Abrahamyan.
The companies emphasized that in the further process of work on the training of specialists they will closely cooperate with universities, attracting higher and secondary vocational schools and ensuring the active participation of young people in this cooperation.
