ArmInfo.Such a humanitarian disaster can hardly be imagined in the 21st century, but it is real life, Aram Vardevanyan, a member of the Armenia bloc, said live on Facebook after visiting Stepanakert and a number of villages.
"Our brothers and sisters in Artsakh are being faced with a problem of their everyday life. Gas supply was stopped on March 8 as the gas main damaged by the Azerbaijani forces has not so far been repaired. According to the local residents, the peacekeepers are taking steeps, but no practical results have so far been achieved. And if the situation has remained unchanged for several days and Armenia's authorities are not taking any measures, it can at least arouse concern. And such behavior was displayed in the case of more serious problems," he said.
He is also severely critical of the international community.
"Democracy implies that such a situation cannot develop in a country regardless of how it is perceived by other nations. The Republic of Artsakh does exist, with all of its stat institutions. But it has found itself in an absurd situation, with no solution," Mr Vardevanyan said.
It is inadmissible that nurslings are in such conditions in Artsakh.
"It is a humanitarian disaster, and I have seen it with my own eyes," the Armenian MP said.
