ArmInfo.Heads of state, ministers, diplomats and representatives of the business world will gather for the Diplomatic Forum in Antalya, which will be held from March 11- 13 for the third time under the auspices of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
According to Anadolu, the forum will be held under the motto "Reformatting diplomacy." Topical issues on the international agenda are planned to be discussed at the forum site.
Antalya Governor Ersin Yazici said that the southern province annually receives millions of tourists and is not only a popular holiday destination, but has also established itself as an important platform for world diplomacy. "Preparations are being completed. I hope that everything will be held at the highest level and without incidents. The previous forum was very successful. Diplomacy is of great importance, the agenda is very rich," Yazici said. Meanwhile, head of the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Davut Cetin, said that not only political leaders, but also representatives of business circles would take part in the forum. Head of the Antalya Commodity Exchange, Ali Candir, said that more than 2,500 people would take part in the forum. "The forum will discuss a wide range of topics, from artificial intelligence to climate change," Candir said.
Despite the fact that only a few days are left before the forum, Armenia still has not officially confirmed its participation in the event. On Wednesday, March 2, during the government hour in the RA Parliament, head of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Ararat Mirzoyan again stressed that no decision had yet been made. He drew attention to the rapidly developing events in the world. "Events are changing every day, every second. And in fact, even seemingly short periods of events are now quite long. We will make a decision when the time comes," he said. Earlier, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan did not rule out the participation of the Armenian delegation in the event.
