Vladimir Putin: Russia has no bad intentions towards neighboring  countries

ArmInfo. Russia has no bad intentions towards neighboring countries. It fulfills and will continue to fulfill all its obligations to them. Russian President  Vladimir Putin announced this on Friday, March 4.

On the air of the Russia 24 TV channel, he advised neighboring states  not to escalate the situation. "I want to emphasize that we have  always said this, we have no bad intentions towards our neighbors. I  would also advise them not to escalate the situation, not to impose  any restrictions, we are fulfilling all our obligations, and will  fulfill them," Putin said.

He also stressed that Moscow does not see any need to escalate or  worsen relations with neighboring countries, for its part. According  to Putin, all actions of Russia arise only in response to an  unfriendly policy towards the Russian Federation, Profile reports.

Earlier, Putin said that Russians and Ukrainians are one people. He  stressed that the Russian military is striving to prevent casualties  among civilians in Ukraine.

On Thursday, February 24, Russia launched a "special operation" in  Ukraine. Its goals are the demilitarization and denazification of the  country. According to Putin, the actions of the Russian Federation  are not connected with the infringement of the interests of the  Ukrainian side, but with protection from those "who took Ukraine  hostage."
