ArmInfo. The number of COVID cases is steadily decreasing, and Armenia's government is discussing loosening restrictions, Armenia's Premier Nikol Pashinyan stated at a Cabinet meeting on February 23.
Armenia's Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan said that the number of beds will be reduced next week provided the COVID cases go on steadily decreasing.
Vaccination of citizens over 65 is showing an upward trend as well, with 40% of citizens of the age group vaccinated. A total of 1,087,715 people (47.9% of the adult population) have received the first dose, and 905,624 (40%) have received both doses. A total of 20,169 people received booster doses.
