RPA Vice-President: Even if we combine all the sins of Ter-Petrosyan,  Kocharyan and Sargsyan in the negotiation process, they cannot be  compared with what Pashinyan did

ArmInfo.During a live broadcast on Facebook, RPA Vice-President Armen Ashotyan refuted the accusations of Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of  Armenia Armen Grigoryan against third President of the Republic of  Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, voiced by him during an interview with one of  the Armenian media yesterday.

Thus, Ashotyan noted that the purpose of the broadcast is to refute  the lies that the team of RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is so  diligently spreading regarding the negotiation process to resolve the  Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

At the same time, he noted that he chose this particular format,  since he does not hope that a number of Armenian media serving the  interests of the current government will invite him to speak on this  matter, so he chose this particular format in order to make the truth  available to the general public.

"Yesterday there was another dose of lies, manipulations,  falsifications, impudence, so let's figure out together why Nikol and  his team are constantly trying to present the same lie in different  versions. It seems that they have a lego of lies, and every time they  collect from this lego a new lie, but it is destroyed, because it  does not withstand any criticism," Ashotyan said.

As a good example, he cited Nikol Pashinyan's post-capitulation  article about the 44-day war, where he blamed the Russians. "Such was  his stupidity about Shushi, which immediately fell apart in a famous  interview with Vladimir Putin. Such was Nikol's lie, which concerned  the resolutions of the UN Security Council of 1993. And yesterday  Armen Grigoryan decided to play a little with the lego of this lie,  and went after the spread of the very vile, the dirtiest lie. Why is  the Security Council doing this? Maybe, besides the fact that he is  an empty place, has deep moral problems, evil tongues say that Nikol  has compromising evidence on him. His personal life is his personal  life, but the parents of 5,000 dead children, as well as the Armenian  society and the Armenian people should not pay for this, " the RPA  representative said.

At the same time, Ashotyan is convinced that Pashinyan regularly  spreads lies for several reasons. "Firstly, Pashinyan is trying to  consistently cleanse himself of the obvious guilt of the last war, he  is trying to cleanse himself of blood, the label of a traitor from a  political point of view. But he does not understand that there is no  such cleanser that could cleanse him from those sins, from blood. 

Secondly, Nikol is trying to get into a very long discussion about  the documents left by Serzh Sargsyan regarding the negotiations,  hoping that we will get tired of answering and shut up. But these  hopes are in vain. He also hopes that the people will get tired of  this lie and will not interfere," the politician said, adding that  even if all the sins of the trio of Armenian presidents Levon  Ter-Petrosyan, Robert Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan are combined in  the negotiation process, they will not be compared with that what  Nikol did.

Ashotyan also drew attention to the fact that Grigoryan in  yesterday's "solo concert" praised the Kazan document, forgetting  that it was Serzh Sargsyan who negotiated, compiled and brought the  document for signing.

In the opinion of the RPA Vice-Chairman, what the RA Security Council  Secretary said yesterday has nothing to do with reality and is simply  immoral. In this vein, he recalled that when Serzh Sargsyan was ready  to sign the Kazan Document, he spoke about it in detail in an  interview with Kiselyov and presented the settlement mechanisms. He  also recalled that back in 2016, supporters of the current Prime  Minister of the Republic of Armenia accused Sargsyan of surrendering  lands, meanwhile, they were silent about the fact that the third  president of Armenia put the independence of Artsakh as the basis for  the settlement of the Karabakh conflict.

Ashotyan also drew attention to the fact that the only official  document to which Serzh Sargsyan gave his consent is the Kazan  document of 2011. At the same time, he stressed that after the Kazan  document there were only new proposals, new options that the Minsk  Group gave to the parties, including options that came after 2016, to  which Armenia officially did not agree. The politician also recalled  that the previous authorities were holding package negotiations, not  substantive ones.

"I will reveal a small episode, the president will not be offended if  I tell it. When Lavrov arrived with the next package of proposals,  the president said, first agree it with Baku. If Baku gives its  consent, then you will come, we will express our opinion. The  discovery here was that that the Armenian side would have agreed with  these proposals if the Azerbaijani side had given its consent to this  package of proposals. there was an issue of an intermediate status -  the consolidation of the mechanisms for the independence of Artsakh  through a referendum on the territory of the NKR, etc. in this  package of proposals. This is a very important circumstance.  Yesterday, this scoundrel said that Serzh Sargsyan's legacy is a  tragedy, etc. He can be such an impudent and cynical person, but he  cannot be so immoral, since only a bastard can speak like that, when  we understand the situation we are in today because of the war that  occurred through the fault of Nikol," Armen Ashotyan emphasized.

"If Serzh Sargsyan's legacy was a tragedy, then what reality have you  brought? This is the highest fruit of hell, this is the 9th circle.  Compared to today's reality, not only the package agreed by Serzh  Sargsyan is heaven, but even the package agreed by Levon  Ter-Petrosyan," the politician said, also recalling that Nikol  Pashiyan's lie about the negotiation process was even refuted by the  Russian co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Igor Popov.

Referring to the letters written by the President of the Republic of  Armenia to the European leaders, Ashotyan suggested that the  authorities publish these letters, recalling that these are state  documents and they have access and the right to publish them. Then,  according to him, it will become clear whether Sargsyan left a legacy  or not. Ashotyan also stressed that Sargsyan left all state  documents, but naturally took copies of them, since this is also his  legacy. "They are angry because they cannot falsify everything they  want. Naturally, Sargsyan took copies of those documents to which he  was related," Ashotyan said.
