ArmInfo. Artsakh FM David Babayan was on a working visit to Brussels February 7 to 10.
The press service of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashknatsutyun (ARF-D) office in Europe reports that the visit was organized by the ARF-D office in Europe jointly with the Artsakh foreign office.
During the visit the Armenia-European Parliament friendship group was reorganized. The MEPs were informed of the situation and challenges facing Artsakh after the Azerbaijan-unleahsed war and as a result of Azerbaijan's aggressive policy based on anti-Armenian sentiments. Mr Babayan held meetings at the Belgian Parliament with the members of the Armenia-Georgia friendship group, members of the French- speaking groups of friendship with Atrsakh in Belgium and with the groups of friendship with Atrsakh in the Parliament of Flanders.
Mr Babayan gave a talk on the Artsakh problem as well as on the current situation for dozens of students of studying law at one of the leading German universities, who were on a visit to Belgium. The Artsakh FM also held a meeting with representatives of the Armenian community in Belgium, with a focus on the destruction of the Armenian cultural heritage in the territories under Azerbaijan's control now.
"We attach special importance to the Artsakh FM's visit to Brussels, as it is his first visit to the EU capital in the post-war period," stated the Chairman of the ARF-D office in Europe.
