ArmInfo. Russia and France are Armenia's most important political partners. This is evidenced by the results of a sociological study conducted by the American International Republican Institute (IRI), which was conducted in Armenia from November 22 to December 5, 2021. The level of statistical error of the study, which covered 1512 respondents across the country, is +/- 2.5%.
Thus, to the question of which two countries do you consider Armenia's most important political partners, 57% of respondents answered Russia, 50% - France, the United States is in the third place - 38%, Iran - 23%, 5% of the respondents mentioned the European Union and China respectively, Georgia - 3%, India - 1%, another 8% of the citizens either mentioned another country or found it difficult to answer.
When asked which 2 countries do you consider the most important economic partners of Armenia, 61% of respondents answered Russia, 40% - Iran, 29% - China, 16% - USA, 14% - France. Among the mentioned countries are also: Georgia (8%), European Union (7%), India (2%), Turkey (2%).
When asked to name the two countries that are considered Armenia's most important security partners, 64% of respondents answered Russia, 32% - France, 31% - Iran, 26% - USA, 5% - EU.
At the same time, the vast majority of respondents consider the relations between Armenia and France to be good. In particular, 49% of the respondents considered them very good, 43% - good, 7% - bad, 1% found it difficult to answer.
Iran is in second place: 22% of respondents considered our relations very good, 58% - good, 13% - bad, 4% - very bad, another 4% found it difficult to answer. At the same time, 15% of citizens considered the relations between Armenia and the United States very good, 62% consider their level to be good, 14%- bad, 6% - very bad, 3% found it difficult to answer. China is in fourth place. 18% of respondents considered our relations to be good, 57% - good, 9% - bad, 4% - very bad, 12 - found it difficult to answer. The European Union is in fifth place. 10% of respondents considered our relationship very good, 59% - good, 18%- bad, 8% - very bad, 5% - found it difficult to answer. Russia is also in the list of countries with which Armenia has good relations - 15% of respondents considered our relations very good, 49% - good, 21% - bad, 13% - very bad, 2% - found it difficult to answer; Georgia - 6% of respondents considered our relations to be very good, 52% - good, 27% - bad, 12% - very bad, 4% - found it difficult to answer and Great Britain - 7% of respondents considered our relations very good, 40% - good, 20% - bad, 15% - very bad, 17% - found it difficult to answer.
It is noteworthy that 80% of respondents considered relations with Turkey very bad, 11% bad, 4% consider them good, another 1% very good, 3% found it difficult to answer.
Citizens of the Republic of Armenia also unanimously considered relations with Azerbaijan bad - 90% consider them very bad, 4% bad, 2% good, another 1% very good, 3% found it difficult to answer.
