ArmInfo. Another demobilization and the Artsakh Defense Army will be disbanded. Former head of the apparatus of the Constitutional Court of Armenia, former RA Ambassador to Poland Edgar Ghazaryan is sounding the alarm.
At the same time, he wondered how to characterize the people who, by their decisions, in an organized and consistent manner, are destroying the Artsakh Defense Army, which was built with the blood of the sons of the Armenian people and having passed a valiant victorious path.
"I believe that such a word is unlikely to be found in the dictionary of the Armenian language, since in the history of the Armenian people there are hardly such creatures that committed such a crime against the Armenian people, so that linguists could find or invent words to describe them," the diplomat said.
Ghazaryan drew attention to the fact that on January 31, 2022, the winter conscription of 2021-2022 ended. According to him, this was the third draft after the devastating 2020 war. "With each call-up, the soldiers whose service has ended are also demobilized. In fact, for the third time in a row, military personnel from the Artsakh Defense Army are only demobilized, and at the same time, the ranks of the Defense Army are not replenished with new conscripts. Obviously, it is impossible to organize the protection of its borders and security only through the efforts of the population living in Artsakh. The Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army, in fact, is being disbanded, with all possible tragic consequences," he added.
At the same time, Ghazaryan stated that Nikol Pashinyan, who seized the post of Prime Minister of Armenia, is the main person responsible for what is happening. The diplomat stated that he not only turned the peaceful life of Artsakh and Armenia into a war, but also failed to lead the state during the war, consciously leading the process to defeat, and with his own hand signed a statement of surrender, surrendering to the enemy also not captured territories of the NKR and the RA as well. At the same time, he expressed his conviction that Pashinyan's treacherous campaign was not over. "Now he is consistently destroying the armies of Armenia and Artsakh, weakening the possibilities of resistance of our state, putting forward hostile theses with criminal intentions to surrender Artsakh to the enemy and finally destroy Armenia. This catastrophe must be prevented a day earlier. Nikol Pashinyan and the forces supporting him must be expelled not only from power , but also from our public life. These are people for whose characterization linguists should think in order to find the appropriate words, which, I am sure, no one in history, except for them, will ever be awarded again," Ghazaryan wrote on his Facebook page. In conclusion, he published a photo from the military parade on Renaissance Square in Stepanakert in May 2012, timed to coincide with the 67th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 20th anniversary of the liberation of Shushi, the formation of the Karabakh Defense Army.
It should be noted that Stepanakert has repeatedly refuted reports about the disbandment of the Artsakh Defense Army. Meanwhile, the media has repeatedly circulated information that one of the oral agreements between the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan is the disbandment of the Artsakh Armed Forces.
