ArmInfo. We have formed a package of proposals, but the copyright, I think, does not belong to us. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed a similar opinion during a live broadcast, answering a question about the EU proposals regarding the de-escalation of the situation on the Armenian- Azerbaijani border.
He explained that the package of proposals, in which some nuances have changed over time, contains the results of the discussions held in Sochi and Brussels. "We tried to derive possible common approaches that were registered during the discussions," the head of government stressed.
At the same time, he noted that the package of proposals contains some observations from the Russian side, moreover, the points of view of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and the EU are taken into account.
It should be noted that during a working visit to Armenia, EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Toivo Klaar said that the EU proposed several options for resolving the situation on the border, but there are still a number of issues that need to be resolved, including those related to the delimitation of borders and others. In order to de-escalate the situation, in his opinion, it is necessary to move on to the practical implementation of the previously agreed issues between the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
