ArmInfo. At the moment, meetings of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan in the format of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group are not planned. However, a visit of the Co-Chairs of the Minsk Group to the region is planned. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated this on January 19 during the government hour in the parliament.
According to the RA Foreign Minister, the issue of the visit has been discussed for a long time, but is regularly postponed. There is strong pressure from Baku to cancel the visit, he noted.
Meanwhile, as the head of the Armenian Foreign Ministry emphasized, the OSCE Minsk Group remains the only format on Karabakh conflict, and the world agrees with this. Baku claims that the Karabakh conflict has been resolved, and as a subject, it no longer exists. Meanwhile, as Mirzoyan pointed out, this position does not coincide with what is said at closed meetings, and the world does not agree with it at all.
