"Dear citizens, the rumors spread on the social network Facebook about the alleged "free access" of Azerbaijanis to some villages of the Republic of Artsakh, which local residents counteract on their own and therefore are held accountable, do not correspond to reality. We urge you not to succumb to false rumors and refrain from spreading dubious news or discussing it on social networks, and follow only official news", the Artsakh National Security Service said in a statement.
The NSS of Artsakh today also announced the disclosure of another case of recruitment of a local resident by the special services of Azerbaijan, this time through the Telegram social network. The user of this social network, introducing himself as an "Armenian", entered into correspondence with a resident of Nagorno- Karabakh, an intimate correspondence began between them. Then, an agent of the Azerbaijani special services began to blackmail his victim, and in return for silence demanded to provide him with certain information and photographs of objects on the ground. A reward was also promised. In this regard, the law enforcement agency urged citizens to refrain from communicating with unfamiliar users on social networks, not to accept dubious offers, not to transmit information that may pose a threat to the security of Nagorno-Karabakh.
