ArmInfo. In his speech, Ilham Aliyev expressed his inner fears in connection with the former presidents of Armenia, which will remain with him for a long time. A  similar point of view was expressed by MP of the "I have the honor"  opposition faction of the National Assembly Tigran Abrahamyan,  referring to the attacks of the President of Azerbaijan against  Armenia and its leaders. 

He drew attention to the fact that the President of Azerbaijan, in an  interview with several media outlets, devoted the lion's share of his  speech to the former President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh  Sargsyan and Robert Kocharian. "Despite the fact that during the  whole conversation he tried to show that under both presidents he was  self-confident, so to speak, he called things by their true names,  but one of his phrases spoiled this artificial performance of  <stand-up guys games>. In his speech, Aliyev expressed more of his  internal fears towards former presidents, who will remain with him  for a long time.

In particular, Aliyev noted: "Of course, these are people who are  ready at any moment to take advantage of any opportunity and strike  us," the MP noted.

At the same time, Abrahamyan is convinced that Aliyev really has  something to think about, since the Armenian people do not intend to  endure today's humiliations for a long time.

"The group of losers will leave sooner or later, while Armenia and  Artsakh know how to fight for their dignity. They will not move in  accordance with the whims and ambitions of Aliyev", he wrote on  Facebook.

According to him, in his last interview, Ilham Aliyev touched upon  various aspects of Armenian- Azerbaijani relations, the Artsakh  problem, but it is obvious that the events in Kazakhstan became the  reason for his urgent meeting with the media.

"In his speech, Aliyev spoke in detail about the changes taking place  in Azerbaijan, including personnel and the fight against corruption,  touched in detail on the rise in prices in the country, tried to  justify inflation and promised to implement social programs. Aliyev  is initially trying to prevent a possible political crisis in  Azerbaijan, the grounds for which are comparable in various  parameters to the current situation in Kazakhstan", the politician  believes.

Recalling the presence in Azerbaijan of representatives of terrorist  groups or passive cells of various extremist groups, he noted that if  we add to this the wealth of the country concentrated in the hands of  several clans, the extreme polarization of society, the  disproportionate development of the country, then everything becomes  clear. "Aliyev really has a reason to think deeply. The only issue in  which he is calm is to have such a quality government of Armenia next  to him, which allows him to feel comfortable, but also to insult,  humiliate and digest it in any situation for political or propaganda  purposes. This government of Armenia is a "gift" for any country that  has intentions to "snatch" something in our region", summed up the  oppositionist.

It should be noted that yesterday, the President of Azerbaijan, in an  interview with Azerbaijani media, threatened Armenia with a third  war, assuring that no one would stop him. Aliyev once again declared  his ambitions for the sovereign territories of Armenia, including the  capital. He also expressed dissatisfaction with the activities of the  co-chairs of the Minsk Group and Russian peacekeepers, and tried to  assert himself at the expense of the former presidents of the RA.
