ArmInfo. On January 12, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and the CSTO peacekeeping mission in Kazakhstan in a telephone conversation, the Kremlin press service reported.
"Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.
Taking into account Armenia's chairmanship in the Collective Security Treaty Organization, an exchange of views was held on the course of the CSTO peacekeeping operation in Kazakhstan. The effective coordinated actions of the peacekeeping contingent, contributing to the normalization of the situation in the republic, were noted.
The current situation around Nagorno-Karabakh and some issues of the implementation of the agreements recorded in the statements of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia dated November 9, 2020, January 11, and November 26, 2021 were discussed.
