RA Defense Ministry reports that serviceman was wounded due to enemy  provocation

ArmInfo.As of 5:00pm, the situation on the Armenian- Azerbaijani border is relatively stable and is under the full control of the RA Armed Forces. This is stated  in the message of the RA Ministry of Defense.

At the same time, the Armenian Defense Ministry confirmed the  information about the shootout on the Armenian-Azerbaijani line of  contact.

"On January 11, at about 3:15pm, units of the Azerbaijani Armed  Forces opened fire on the Armenian combat positions in the direction  of Verin Shorzha of the Gegharkunik region of the Republic of  Armenia.  As a result of these actions of the Armed Forces of  Azerbaijan, one serviceman of the Armed Forces of Armenia received a  gunshot wound of moderate severity. The enemy's fire was suppressed  by the retaliatory actions of the Armenian side, " the message of the  RA Ministry of Defense reads.

Meanwhile, the Azerbaijani media reported on the death of a  serviceman of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, as a result of an  incident on the line of contact between the troops of the two  countries.
