ArmInfo. The unblocking of all the economic and transport communications in the South Caucasus is one of the major aspects of normalization of the Armenian- Azerbaijani relations, RF Deputy FM Andrey Rudenko told TASS.
It is an opportunity for both the countries to benefit from peaceful co-existence.
In this context, Mr Rudenko noted that at the Moscow Summit on January 11, 2021, the Russian, Armenian and Azerbaijani leaders agreed to form a trilateral working group co-chaired by the three states' vice- premiers. Important preparatory work has been done for resumption of rail and road communications in the region.
"An integral package is being 'polished' now. This approach will stabilize the decisions made," the official said. The Russian-Azerbaijani-Armenian agreements reached in Sochi on November 26 will give impetus to the ongoing teamwork.
"We aim to complete working out the parameters of joint infrastructures and launching specific projects," Mr Rudenko said.
