ArmInfo.Actions and discussions related to Artsakh should have clear goals, formed on the basis of national interests, and principles and red lines - above any narrow and short-term interests, including domestic political ones. State Minister of the Artsakh Republic Artak Beglaryan wrote about this on his Facebook page. In this regard, he stressed that this refers to the political forces and figures of Artsakh, Armenia as well as the Diaspora, starting with himself.
"Does anyone doubt that the Armenians of Artsakh continue and will continue their struggle for the sake of the Armenian future of Artsakh, international recognition of independence and, finally, unification with Mother Armenia?" In particular, he noted that for every Armenian, the will and aspirations of the Armenians of Artsakh should be an unshakable basis in their aspirations and efforts to support the Motherland.
"Every Armenian who believes that Artsakh should remain Armenian has a task - first of all, not to harm, and only then to provide support," he said.
It should be noted that this speech by the State Minister of the Republic of Artsakh was a response to a recent interview with Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashyanian, where the latter allowed himself ambiguous, defeatist statements about the Karabakh settlement and the future of Artsakh. NKR President Arayik Harutyunyan also commented on this occasion.
