ArmInfo."You enjoy full support on my part and on the part of the government," Armenia`s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated as he addressed Yerevan`s newly elected Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan.  

The premier said that Mr Sargsyan was fully involved in the Civil  Contract party`s election campaign as First Vice-Mayor of Yerevan.  The premier pointed out harmony between the Yerevan mayor, City  Council and "political majority." In this context he stressed a need  for cooperation with the opposition factions in the Council. Mr  Pashinyan stated that the Yerevan Municipality can rely on the  government`s further support. 

"The harmony between the mayor, Council, government and political  majority must result in synergy that would have its effect on Yerevan  residents," Mr Pashinyan said.  

In his turn, Mr Sagsyan stated that, supported by the government, he  will implement projects that have for many years not been implemented  for unknown reasons. 

"I think we have a potential, but we need efficient management to  realize it," he said.
